Day 1: Cusco City Tour
According to the time of your arrival at the airport, our staff will be waiting for you to give you a warm welcome to the magical Imperial City of Cusco and transfer you to your hotel, where you will be offered a coca leaf tea good for acclimatization.
In the afternoon at 12:45 pm, our guide will be waiting for you in the main square of Cusco to take you on a city tour around the city of Cusco, among the places we will visit are the Koricancha temple, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, and Puca Pucara ending this tour around 6.00 pm.
We start with the family tour with the pick up at your hotel to go to the archaeological site of Pisaq, an ancient Inca city that is located on top of a mountain, on the way we can visit the Pisac craft market and then continue with our trip to the city. from Urubamba where we will rest and have lunch in a typical local restaurant. After enjoying a succulent lunch, we will return to the road towards the fortress of Ollantaytambo. In this place, our guide will take you through the most significant places and you will appreciate the beautiful Inca buildings. At around 5:00 p.m. we will go to the train station to board the train on the way to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). In Aguas Calientes, our guide will take you to the reserved hotel, and our guide will coordinate the departure time to visit the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
The next day according to the time of the entry of your ticket to Machu Picchu we will get up early to have breakfast and then board the bus to Machu Picchu, this bus will take you to the entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu on a trip that will last approximately 25 minutes. Once we arrive at the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, our guide will start with the guide through the most important and representative places of the Inca citadel, the guide will be for a time of 2 hours, which will take you through enclosures such as; The temple of the Sun, the sundial, the house of the Inca etc. Once the tour is over, we will return again on the bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes.
In Aguas Calientes, according to the train that was reserved, they must be at the train station to return to Ollantaytambo and then we board a minivan back to the city of Cusco.
The tour to the Vinicunca mountain starts early in the morning, we will pass by your hotel in Cusco between 04:00 and 04:30 am. To travel in our minivan to the south of Cusco, until we reach the Cusipata district where we can enjoy a buffet breakfast, then we will continue with the trip until we reach the checkpoint in the town of Phulawasipata and start the trek to the 7-hour mountain. Colors, the walk will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes depending on the physical condition of the members of the family, on the way we will be able to observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, upon reaching the Vinicunca viewpoint at (5080 masl.) our guide will give us an explanation about the orography, ecosystem, and color of the mountain, we can also take advantage of the moment to observe the Ausagante mountain range and take souvenir photos and admire the beautiful landscape, then we will return along the same path to the point where we start the walk where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy the buffet lunch. After lunch we will start the return trip to the city of Cusco, arriving between 5 in the afternoon.
