Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Piscacuchu (Km82) - Llactapata - Wayllabamba

To start the Inca trail 5 days to Machu Picchu our transportation will be waiting for you at your hotel at 6 am, and will take you to our first stop in the town of Ollantaytambo, in this place we will have our breakfast at the end we continue and follow the path until arrive at km 82 of the railway, here our guide will give you some recommendations for entering the Inca Trail.
When we pass the control, we start with the walk to Machu Picchu along the banks of the Urubamba River until we reach the archaeological site of Llactapata, where we will take a break and have lunch, then we will continue for 1 hour and a half more until we reach our first camp in Wayllabamba. Here we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Wayllabamba - Warmiwañuska - Pacaymayo

This day will surely be the most complicated of the Inca Trail tour since we will have to ascend to a height of 4200 meters above sea level. Before we have breakfast and we will prepare to continue with the walk towards the Warmiwañuska pass on the way we will be able to appreciate the beautiful views and mountains that surround the road to Machu Picchu. Upon reaching the top you will feel as if you are close to heaven. Immediately we will descend until we reach the Pacaymayo valley where we can have lunch. We will continue for 1 more hour of walking until we reach the Pacaymayo site where our second camp will be. Here we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Runkurakay - Sayacmarca - Phuyupatamarca - Wiñayhuayna

On the third day we will wake up early to have breakfast and continue with the walk this time the path will be less complicated since we will visit four archaeological centers, our first stop will be the archaeological site of Runkurakay a circular place, then we will visit Sayacmarca this place It is special because in many sections of the Inca Trail they are made on the same rock, immediately we will go to Phuyupatamarca, a peculiar archaeological site since the mist surrounds it and in the distance, it is very difficult to appreciate it, after visiting it we will begin to descend and we will be able to notice the change of climate since we will be entering the edge of the jungle. After 1 hour of walking, we arrive at Wiñayhuayna, a beautiful archaeological site intact in its buildings. Here we will take a break and have lunch then we will have a guided tour of this archaeological center, at sunset we will have dinner and then spend the night.

Day 4: Wiñayhuayna - Inti Punku - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes

On the fourth day we finally arrived, we woke up at 4 am to go out to appreciate the arrival of the sun in the archaeological site of Inti Punku and we will also see the arrival of the sun in Machu Picchu, it is a natural phenomenon that can only be appreciated in just a few minutes. , after taking photos and appreciating the landscape we will continue descending for 1 hour until we reach the guardian's house from here we will see Machu Picchu, immediately we will go down to the entrance gate and we will get on a tourist bus towards the town of Aguas Calientes where The guide will take you to your hotel to take a break and then have lunch. In the afternoon you will have free time so you can visit some places in this town and in the evening you will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

This will be the day we will visit Machu Picchu. For which we will wake up early to have breakfast and immediately go to the bus station, we will board a tourist bus in the direction of the entrance gate to Machu Picchu from here our guide will start with the guide through the Inca city of Machu Picchu, we will visit the house of the guardian, the temple of the principal, the temple of the three windows, the intihuatana, the temple of the sun and the moon, among many more places that will amaze you, after 2 hours of guidance you will have the freedom to tour Machu Picchu on your own and our guide will be waiting for you at the exit gate to return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch and prepare to board the train that will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transport will be waiting for you to bring you back to the city. from Cuzco.
