The Inca Trail 2 days begins with the pick up from your hotel at 4:00 am and then we will leave for the train station in Ollantaytambo for approximately 2 and a half hours, where we will take the train that will take us to km 104, starting place of the short Inca Trail. Before starting we will go through the control booth to check the tickets on the short Inca Trail, from this place we will start a three-hour walk until we reach the Wiñaywayna Archaeological site that is at 2600 meters altitude, in this place we will take the opportunity to eat and take a short break then we will continue walking until we reach the Inti Pinku (Puerta del Sol) from this place we will be able to appreciate the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Then we will descend for 30 minutes until we reach the bus station and we will board the tourist bus to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where we will stay and have dinner, we will also have time to visit the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes that is located at 15 minutes from the same town this activity is optional. In the evening you will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
We will get up early to have breakfast at the hotel, then we will go to the bus station to board and visit Machu Picchu on this occasion we will be able to appreciate the sunrise in the Inca city. We will have 2 and a half hours guided by the most representative places of the citadel, then you will have enough time to enjoy it on your own until it is time to say goodbye to Machu Picchu and return to descend by bus to Aguas Calientes. There we will take the train to Ollantaytambo, where transportation will be waiting for us to take us to Cusco.
