Dia 1: CUSCO – CACHORA – CAPULIYOC – CHIQUISCA – SANTA ROSA

Salimos de la ciudad del Cusco a las 3 am , en nuestra minivan en un viaje de 4 horas pasando por las provincias de Anta, Limatambo, Cachora y finalmente llegar a Capuliyoc, situado al borde del Cañón Apurímac, en donde tomaremos nuestro desayuno.
Aqui nos encontraremos con el resto del equipo (arrieros, caballos, etc.). Luego comenzamos la caminata durante 2 horas y media hasta llegar a Chiquisca a 1,800 metros de altura , donde tendremos nuestro almuerzo, luego continuaremos nuestra caminata por 1 hora más hasta llegar a la Playa Rosalina a 1,500 metros de altura ,el punto más bajo de la ruta y luego subiremos por 3 horas más hasta Santa Rosa donde pasaremos nuestra primera noche.

Dia 2: SANTA ROSA – MARAMPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO

En la mañana nuestro despertador serán las aves , después de recargar energías con un buen desayuno empezaremos la caminata en un ascenso de 3 horas por un camino sinuoso y angosto a lo largo del camino paramos en algunos puntos para tener un breve descanso , luego retomamos la caminata hasta llegar a Marampata a 2,900 metros de altura , lugar donde será nuestro almuerzo. Desde aquí tendremos nuestra primera vista del complejo de Choquequirao. Enseguida continuamos caminando por 2 horas más hasta el área de camping , al atardecer podremos ver algunos cóndores volando.

Dia 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO – PINCHINUYOC

Hoy tendrá un amanecer con aire fresco y un desayuno caliente, luego empezaremos con la visita guiada a los principales sitios de interés de todo Choquequirao, durante la mañana visitaremos Paqchayoc, la casa del sacerdote, los andenes de cultivo. Al mediodía nuestro cocinero traerá nuestro almuerzo al sector principal , luego de un breve descanso seguimos con la visita del sector de las llamas , la casa del inca y los templos. Después empezamos el ascenso a el paso Choquequirao donde tendrás una vista privilegiada .
Después descenderemos hasta las terrazas de Pinchinuyoc a una altura de 2487 metros , donde pasaremos la noche con un cielo claro y lleno de estrellas .

Después volveremos al lado opuesto del río y comenzaremos a ascender en dirección a nuestro campamento en Maizal a una altura de 2891 metros , lugar donde pasaremos la noche.

Dia 5: MAIZAL – YANAMA – TOTORA – LUCMABAMBA.

Después del desayuno salimos y caminaremos cuesta arriba a través del bosque húmedo , pasaremos por las minas de la Victoria antes de subir una hora más abra San Juan, en donde podremos tener vistas espectaculares de la cordillera Vilcabamba con sus glaciares de más de 5000 metros de altura. Aqui nos despediremos de nuestros arrieros, para posteriormente tomar nuestro auto local subiendo hasta los 4643 metros de altura del passo Mariano Llamocca con una vista del segundo pico nevado más alto del Cusco el Salkantay, para luego descender hasta Lucmabamba en un viaje de 3 horas aproximadamente . En el camino disfrutaremos de las hermosas vistas de las montañas, cataratas, bosques , ríos y la gente local .

Dia 6:LUCMABAMBA – LLACTAPATA – AGUAS CALIENTES.

El principal objetivo de hoy es una visita al sitio arqueológico de Llactapata, asentado en lo alto de una montaña , muy temprano llegaremos a Llactapata y visitaremos el recinto por una media hora, donde podremos disfrutar de las fantásticas vistas del sitio arqueológico y además podremos apreciar a Machu Picchu desde este punto.
Después empezaremos un descenso de 2 horas a la estación Hidroeléctrica en donde tendremos nuestro almuerzo .


Luego iniciamos nuevamente la caminata desde Hidroeléctrica a Aguas Calientes durante aproximadamente 3 horas siguiendo el ferrocarril .
Una vez en Aguas Calientes puede descansar un poco antes de cenar o pasear por esta pequeña ciudad . A las 19:00 pm , cenaremos en un restaurante local, donde nuestro guía le explicará con más detalle sobre la visita a Machupicchu. En su habitación, tendrá un baño privado, ducha con agua caliente, wifi, desayuno en la mañana y almacenamiento de equipaje mientras visita Machu Picchu.

Día 7: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO- CUSCO

Si tienen la visita a una de las montañas disponibles “Waynapicchu ó Machupicchu”, dependiendo de la hora de inicio (primer horario 7 AM – 8 AM y segundo horario de 10 AM – 11 AM ), nuestro guía organizara todo , ustedes solo tienen que relajarse y disfrutar del tour.
Una vez terminado el tour pueden regresar caminando ó en bus, pero debe tener en cuenta que algunas veces la fila para abordar el bus es tan larga que puede demorar una hora a más, entre las 12 a 1 de la tarde .
Ya en Aguas Calientes, es donde abordaremos el tren de retorno hasta llegar al la estación de Ollantaytambo, ahí es donde nuestra movilidad lo estará esperando para retornar a la ciudad del Cusco.
